Science on a Shoestring

Join us for Science on a Shoestring, the 57th Annual Conference of the Michigan Science Teachers Association. The event will take place at the Lansing Radisson and Lansing Center in Lansing, Michigan, March 4-6, 2010. Attendance is expected to exceed 2,500 teachers and administrators from Michigan with many nationally known speakers and guests. Current issues and teaching techniques in science will be highlighted throughout the conference.

• Thursday Sessions - The Thursday sessions/workshops are separate from the two day MSTA conference held on Friday and Saturday, March 5-6. There is no registration form to fill out if you are planning on attending the Thursday events. Some pre-registration is required for these sessions, or pay-at-the-door requirements. We still have time slots available for sessions, and we will accept proposals until the times are full. All proposals must be submitted on-line.

Register for the Conference

Download the conference registration form to mail or fax in, complete the PDF form online, or register online. Register by February 12, 2010 for advance registration rates; after February 12, all registration is on-site.

Student Volunteers

College student volunteers are needed for the Conference; volunteers will receive free registration. Click for details.

Conference Tours

There will be two conference tours again this year: Michigan Brewing Company and the National Superconducting Cyclotron Laboratory at MSU. Preregistration required.
