Region 4 Director: April Holman

Growing up with a high school science teacher for a dad, April had an early role model in good science practices and teaching. She has been a high school biology and chemistry teacher for over 20 years in Montcalm County. April has a passion for science education and looks to improve her own skills and help other teachers as often as possible. She has been a trainer for various professional development programs and has served as a Director-at-Large for MSTA before stepping into the Regional Director role.

When she is not in her classroom, April enjoys many physical endeavors including walking, running, swimming, and yoga. She likes to travel and spend time with her husband Chuck and almost grown children Calah and Gabe.
