    About the Presenter:

    Conni Crittenden is a retired fourth and fifth grade classroom teacher from Williamston, Michigan. She was with the Williamston Schools for forty-seven years. Conni earned her B.S. in Elementary Education and an M.S. in Fisheries and Wildlife from Michigan State University.

    Ms. Crittenden is a 1998 PAEMST Awardee in Elementary Science, a 1995 Christa McAuliffe Fellow, and a 2004, 2006, and 2008 Toyota Tapestry Grant Awardee. She currently serves as the Elementary Director on the Michigan Science Teachers Association Board where she has held several different positions over the 30+ years.

    Conni is a regular presenter at the annual Michigan Science Teachers Association Conference, and National Science Teachers Association Conference, She does teacher workshops throughout the year, mentors pre-service and new teachers, and has been the Instructional Coordinator of gifted and talented programs and adjunct faculty at  Michigan State University.

    Over her 47 years in the classroom she has brought in over $500,000 for her classroom and district projects.
